Andy Pan
is a graphic designer and freelance photographer in the Twin Cities. He is a graduate of Minneapolis College of Art and Design with a BFA in Graphic Design. His designs have a heavy focus on the relationship between text and image. Andy loves experimenting the different ways that type can work with images and vice versa, and how similar forms can derive from each medium and work well together.
When it comes to photography, Andy loves capturing nature and wildlife, it’s his main source of inspiration. He is a nature lover ever since he was a little kid and his creativity has derived from his experiences of outdoor activities like fishing, hiking, camping, and group gatherings at parks. His goal is to expand our appreciation for nature by immersing ourselves in with his photographs and creating a harmonious relationship with the environment.
During his time off, Andy loves to spend time investing in stocks and making up business ideas. He will often brainstorm ideas and find new places to go for his next photo project and that would ultimately become apart of his design inspiration. Andy also loves spending time caring for his huge collection of 100 houseplants, 2 cats, 5 fish, and his bearded friend, Marco, the bearded dragon.
